Baahubali 2: The Conclusion Movie Review
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is the first Indian Movie for which people of India was waiting for the last 2 years. For a movie which earned 5 billions before its release, it cannot be only marketing but expectations were really high based on the super success of Baahubali: The Beginning.
The question – “Why Kattappa Killed Baahubali” took the nation by storm keeping the audience excited for two years. And now as the answer is in theatres, the grand opening of the movie breaking all the records will not surprise anyone.
Now the question is if Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will keep its promise to entertain its audiences with the same measure and will be in a position to surpass Baahubali: The Beginning in terms of VFX, Action and Drama?
This second episode of the Epic by S. S. Rajamouli is grand with splendid VFX works and excellent acting same as the first episode. With Baahubali: The Beginning, creating the amazing waterfalls and splendid fight scenes, S. S. Rajamouli himself set the expectations very high for his next offering. But instead of comparing, we should look at both the parts as one and yes you will enjoy this closing part which has same grandness and style.
Being the conclusion, this second part doesn’t have that scope to showcase anything grand like what shown with the first part with waterfalls and climbing sequences, and comes directly to the story.
The Story of “Empire of Mahishmati” where Amarendra Bahubali, in spite of being younger to Bhallaladeva, is getting appointed as the king by the queen Sivagami. The story proceeds further with lots of drama of love, hatred, jealousy, betrayal and ultimately leads us to the plot to kill Baahubali revealing the ultimate secret.
Baahubali: The Beginning being the first part has got all the attentions and loved by the audience as they had never experienced anything like that before. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion being the conclusive part may not excite the audience that much with the expectations too high set by the first part.
But these both the parts are the same and together they have created history. S. S. Rajamouli has done full justice to the series and hasn’t fall prey to the expectations to make the second part grander and remained calm to close it in a style.
