Force 2 Movie Review

Without any dull moment Force 2 is a fast paced action thriller with more action and less thrills. Force 2 offers nothing new and is a onetime watch run of the mill action thriller.

Force 2Force 2 starts with RAW Agents getting killed in China. ACP Yashwardhan (John Abraham) getting a clue from his deceased friend Harish (one of the killed RAW Agent in China) set him on a mission to find the root of it. On this mission he is getting accompanied by one of the RAW official KK aka Kamaljeet Kaur (Sonakshi Sinha). As the clue gets them to Budapest, rest is the hide and seek story between Tahir Raj Bhasin (as Shiv Sharma/Rudra Pratap Singh) and John Abraham with Sonakshi Sinha giving cover to John Abraham.

The story tries to have some twist with the revelation that Shiv Sharma having a fake identity and he is actually Rudra Pratap Singh son of a former RAW agent working in China and on a mission to kill the minister who has disowned his father after he get caught. But it fails to put its audience at the edge of their seats rather make them relax and wait for the end of the movie.

Force 2 is out an out action thriller with less thrill and more action. There is no romance in the movie and lead players are always busy on their hunt. The best part is that with only one song Oh Janiya (recreation of “Kaate Nahi Katate Ye Din Ye Raat”) the movie keeps it complete focus on the story keeping the length of the movie short and runs with a good pace. The climax with endless gun shots will remind you of some video games where only the shooting gun is visible targeting the opponents.

John Abraham as the “Satkela” ACP Yashwardhan is intense and always on the mark. Sonakshi Sinha mostly keeps following him and providing cover as partner on mission. Special mention to Tahir Raj Bhasin as Shiv and Rudra, he impresses the most with his excellent acting.

Force 2 is a onetime watch which gives you a crisp action thriller, although with less thrilling moments it runs with good pace and don’t give you a dull moment.
